Questions
Do I need to download an app?
No. We text you a link. Open it on your phone at your call time, tap Join, and point your camera at the problem. It works in Safari and Chrome.
Will someone actually come to my house?
Yes, if it needs a pro. OneTrip skips the first "come look at it" visit. The pro who comes out already knows what is wrong and brings what is needed, so it is one prepared trip instead of two or three.
What can you look at?
Almost anything in or around the house: leaks, water heaters, AC that will not cool, breakers that trip, roof and ceiling stains, appliances, doors, drywall, floors, screens, fences and more. If you are not sure what it is, that is exactly what the call is for.
What happens to my $29?
It pays for 30 minutes with a pro and your written diagnosis. If KCG Built does the repair, the $29 comes off the price.
What if you cannot figure it out on video?
If the pro cannot help in the first 5 minutes (bad connection, nothing to see), we refund you. If it truly needs hands-on testing, your report says exactly what the visiting pro needs to check.
Is the call recorded?
No. The call is not recorded. The pro may save still photos of the problem for your written report, and you will see them in it.
What about plumbing, electrical, AC and roofing work?
Those trades need a Florida license. We diagnose them on the call, then connect you with a vetted, licensed and insured contractor who prices the job and contracts with you directly. We stay in touch until it is done.
Where do you work?
Video calls work anywhere you have a phone signal. We line up repairs within 75 miles of DeLand, FL: Volusia, Seminole and Flagler counties.
Is this a substitute for an emergency service?
No. If you smell gas, see sparks or smoke, or water is near electrical, leave the area and call 911 or your utility first.
