What OneTrip is

OneTrip is a paid, live video call (30 minutes, $29) with a home repair pro from KCG Built, a brand of Kings Consulting Group LLC. The pro looks at the problem through your phone camera, tells you what they see, and sends you a written diagnosis.

What it is not

It is advice based on what is visible on video. It is not a licensed inspection, a code compliance check, an appraisal or a guarantee.
It is not an emergency service. If you smell gas, see sparks or smoke, or water is near electrical, leave the area and call 911 or your utility.
KCG Built is not a licensed contractor. We do not bid, price, negotiate or contract for work that needs a Florida contractor license.
We will not talk you through work that requires a Florida license or a permit (for example gas lines, electrical panels and wiring, refrigerant, roofing or structural work). For that work we diagnose and connect you with a licensed contractor.

Doing it yourself

If you choose to make a repair yourself, you do so at your own risk. Shut off power, water or gas as the pro explains, use proper protective equipment, and stop if anything seems unsafe. Follow product instructions and local rules.

If KCG Built does the repair

We take on minor repairs only: work that needs no license and no permit, with a total price for labor and materials under $2,500, as Florida law allows. We give you a written estimate first, and you approve it before we start.

Licensed contractors

When work needs a licensed trade, we refer you to an independent contractor who holds the required Florida license and insurance. That contractor gives you their own price and contracts with you directly. KCG Built may receive a referral fee from the contractor; it does not change your price. We stay in touch until the job is done, but the contractor is responsible for their work.

Payment, credit and refunds

The $29 fee is paid before the call.
If KCG Built does the repair, the fee is credited toward that job.
Cancel at least 2 hours before your call for a full refund.
If the pro cannot help you in the first 5 minutes (for example a bad connection or nothing to see), you get a full refund.
If you miss your call without cancelling, the fee is not refunded, but you can reschedule once at no charge within 30 days.

Privacy and recording

Calls are not recorded, and you agree not to record the pro without asking first (Florida requires everyone's consent to record a call). Video and audio go directly between your phone and the pro. The pro may save still photos of the problem for your written report, and those photos appear in it. We use your information to deliver the service and arrange repairs you ask for. We share it with a contractor only when you ask us to get the work done. See our privacy policy.

Who can book

You must be 18 or older and the owner of the home, or have the owner's permission to have work looked at and done there.

Limits

To the extent the law allows, Kings Consulting Group LLC's total responsibility for a OneTrip call is limited to the fee you paid for it. These terms are governed by Florida law, and any dispute will be handled in Volusia County, Florida.
